When I was eighteen, I was a victim of domestic abuse and stalking.
When I was nineteen and trying to heal, I struggled to find someone to help me through my trauma and couldn’t find any stories that made me feel like someone else understood what I was going through.
When I was twenty, I realized the media doesn’t talk about how women are treated in our society, that no one prepares you for relationships, that the internet doesn't have enough information about birth control, and that no one teaches you the inevitable hardships of being a woman.
When I turned twenty-one, I knew I wanted to be the resource I never had and the voice that I know so many women and girls need.
